Our Story

It started as a dream.  Over the past few years while we have been busy beautifying
homes, cottages, vacation properties and businesses we have been working on the side to turn
Moving Designz Home & Cottage into a reality.

Moving Designz Home & Cottage features 1800 sq ft of showroom filled with fabulous furniture and home decor.  We feel very
fortunate to find such a beautiful location to open our new shop.  Our location is 4 Queen St at Harbour Terrace in the historic
and totally renovated former Journal Pioneer building.  Downtown on Summerside's waterfront. 

 At Moving Designz we feel furniture should be an investment, not an after thought.  It should be beautiful and lasting,
as well as, comfortable, functional and practical to your lifestyle.  We love modern and classic, colour and texture,
and clean simple lines. 

All of our pieces are carefully chosen with care and consideration and will only be in the store if we ourselves would put it in
our own homes or cottages.  Our home selection is filled with quality furniture, solid wood accent pieces, lighting, bedding,
mirrors, artwork, ready made curtains, giftware, books and accessories all designed to make your home complete. 

Our lines are designed not to match but to mix and match.  A far more interesting way to decorate... 

Moving Designz has a terrific selection of giftware and we can make up gift baskets for any
special occasion.  We have also added a Wedding Registry for the Bride and Groom.  Gift certificates
are available in any denomination.
